Brandon Reidman
Some Personal Information About Me:
I am 19 years old and in my 2nd year at North Dakota State College of Science. I
am studying Business Administration. I grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota. I
started riding motorcycle when I was 6 years old. I have a younger brother that
also races, so we have some fun times on the track. Living in North Dakota is
tough because I can't ride much during the winter, so I have to travel out of
state to ride, which can be very expensive
How I got started
I started riding when I was 6 years old and racing when I was 7. My parents
got me an old Yamaha 50 for Christmas. It didn't take long and I wanted to
follow in my dad's footsteps and start racing. I have raced 50`s, 60`s, 80`s,
and am now on a RM 250F and 450F and LOVE them.
Competitive Highlights
The most special highlight of my 9-year racing career happened in 2001 when I
won my first state championship and was also voted "Most Improved Rider" by my
peers.
2002 was my first year on big bikes, and I won another state championship in the
250-B class and got 2nd in the 125-B class.
In 2003, I moved up to the A class in North Dakota. I finished 4th overall in
the 125 class and 5th in the 250 class. It was a fun year, because the
competition in that class is so much tougher.
I didn't ride as much as I wanted to in 2004 because I was working and preparing
for college.
Goals for the future
My goal for 2006 is to qualify for Loretta Lynn's. I don't think I'll be able
to ride a lot of arenacross races this winter because of my college education,
but I will if I get the chance.
