How I got started
When I was 4, my parents bought me an old PW 50 for Christmas. I decided I
wanted to follow my fathers foot steps and race motocross so I started racing
when I was 5.
I rode my PW for 2 years and than i quit and started racing BMX. I race BMX
compeditavely for about 5 or 6 years. I just started riding and racing again
about 5 years ago.
Competitive Highlights
In 2001 was my first year back riding a bike. I had a YZ80 and that whole
year I spent just learning how to ride again. It was a fun year learning
everything again and getting used to riding a bike.
In 2002 was my first full year of racing. I raced the 80-B class. Had a good
year finished out 6th overall in the NDMA. At the end of the year i suffered a
broken arm that put me out for the fall.
In 2003 I moved to big bikes. I rode a CR 125 in the 125C class. I stayed
healthy all year and ended up 6th overall for the season.
In 2004 was a year of progression, although It all started out bad when I lost
the tip of my braking finger in a door just before the season. But I still made
the move up to the 125-B class and and also made the jump to a four stroke. I
ended up finishing 2nd overall in the 125-B class and I also finished 2nd in the
Open-B Class.
Now 2005 I just won my first State Championship in the 125-B Class, and i will
be representing North Dakota in the Four State shootout in the 125-B class and
looking forward to that. This winter I am looking forward to race some
arenacross , and I will also riding A for the rest of the year.
Goals for the Future
Next season I plan on making the jump to the 125-A class and looking forward
improving my race program.I have also been doing some riding with Tucker Hibbert
this summer and am learning a lot from him.
